SJR - A great school with great teachers, staff and kids! 💕
The best!!!
Last week on SJR Today, our 7th and 8th grade students read their poems honoring the life, incredible legacy, and sacrifice of Martin Luther King, Jr. Today we join the nation for a day of observance of this special occasion with quiet reflection, inspiration, and embracing a lifetime of service to others. #WeAreSJR, #SJRproud, #archphilly, Archdiocese of Philadelphia Schools - AOPS, #AOPS_schools ... On Saturday, the SJR Robotics Club participated in our first Lego League Challenge Skirmish at La Salle College High School. Congratulations to the SJR Seahawks Robotics team: Kylie (8th), Hannah (8th), Lynette (8th), Sophia (8th), Nathan (8th), Vince (7th), Adrian (7th), Danny (6th), and Timothy (6th). The Seahawks had a splashing achievement. The tournament consisted of 22 teams and the Seahawks were awarded a 8th place finish! Our students had a huge surprise on their last school arrival prior to Christmas break. They were shocked to find that the SJR Little Elves had been in full swing throughout the night. The elves had snow flakes on the floor along with balloons and toilet paper swaying from the 2nd floor hallway ceiling. The elves even went as far as writing every students name on the toilet paper and a big wish for a “fun-filled” Happy New Year! #WeAreSJR, #SJRproud, #archphilly, #AOPS_schools, Archdiocese of Philadelphia Schools - AOPS ...
