Today we celebrate the Holy Day of All Saints. On Monday afternoon, our school gathered together as our 3rd grade students participated in a special Saint Parade. Each student dressed as the Saint they chose and presented facts about their Saint from the altar, sharing what made their Saint special and inspiring. Thank you to the students, parents, and their teacher, Ms. Larson for bringing the saints to life during this annual event. Let us pray today and everyday for the intercession of the Saints so that one day we may join them in their heavenly glory. #WeAreSJR, #SJRproud, #archphilly, #AOPS_schools, @aops_schools ... The 2nd grade students were engaged in a baptism celebration today as part of their Religion class. This beautiful hands-on activity helped the students better understand the meaning and symbols of the Sacrament of Baptism. The students took on different roles, such as the priest, parents, godparents, grandparents, relatives, and guests, making the experience both educational and memorable. #WeAreSJR, #SJRproud, #archphilly, #AOPS_schools, @aops_schools ...
