the kids choir sounded so beautiful. Great job Elaine Johnson, that's one heck of a group. Love hearing this and seeing the school kids receiving ashes.
Once again this year, we are thrilled to support The Next Step Program, a local nonprofit that empowers young adults with disabilities through life skills instruction, job support, and social opportunities. We are continuing to collect gift cards and supplies for participants’ daily activities and skill-building lessons through Friday, February 20th. Please go to the link in our weekly newsletter to sign up for a gift card or supplies.
Our 8 th grade will be delivering the items to TNS in the next few weeks. They will take a tour of the facility and have an opportunity to spend time with the young adults in the program. Thank you for your support. #WeAreSJR, #SJRproud, #archphilly, #AOPS_schools, @aops_schools , #tns, @tnsprograms ... See MoreSee Less

Mr. Brian Sheehan an alum and current general assignment reporter for NBC10 visited yesterday to speak with our students in grades 3-8. He shared how his dream of becoming a reporter in Philadelphia area began while he was a student at SJR and his journey to achieve his goal. He expanded on his most memorable moment currently as a reporter. Mr. Sheehan covered the parade down Broad Street when the Eagles won the Super Bowl in 2018. Hands down the best day of his career! Thank you for your enthusiastic visit and inspiring our students to begin now to follow their dreams. #WeAreSJR, #SJRproud, #archphilly, #AOPS_schools, Archdiocese of Philadelphia Schools - AOPS, #NBCNews, NBC10 Philadelphia, Brian Sheehan, #BrianSheehan,

A huge Thank you to ALL the ladies that were “There for us” when we needed you during the event. Your care and swiftness of all health professionals that sprung into action and provided comfort and their abilities was amazing.
